I am an insurance adjuster that's getting sick of the website we are using to get past weather information. Does anyone know a few websites that I can get weather information (preferably with a search function by city) for specific dates. Optimally I am looking for something that includes wind speeds, temp, storm activity, precipitation, lightning strikes, snowfall, hail etc. Even a combination of websites that will give me this information would be fantastic. Thanks for your help.

You can check the National Weather Service site at www.weather.gov (NOT weather.com)
www.wunderground.com also works

You can call the local National Weather Service office of the area. The number would be at the bottom of the web page of each office. Just click the national map to navigate to the proper office. Explain your purpose and what weather you need, usually they are able to help. Providing data is part of the NWS's services.
You could also try the state climatologist's office for the state. Most allow you to make requests for data. Just do a web search to find the site.

Easy. You can use your my.yahoo.com to designate whatever sites (places) you want weather for. You will then see those sites automatically each time you pull up your My Yahoo page. You can also get as much or as little detail as you want on each place.

The only weather site that I know of is "www.weather.com".

I hope this helps you.

Have a lovely "sunny" rest of the day.
