Hi,
I found a good website which is an index for all legitimate jobs from home. There are jobs like "researchers, ad testers, writers, sales & customer service and more. No scams and none of the listed jobs charges any fees.
Go to http://www.cjfj.net
If you want a real job online, have a good look, there are many different jobs listed.

Let me show you a fantastic home based business opportunity working in partnership with a company with the highest honesty and integrity I have ever found, and that covers almost 40 years at Board level.
Check out my web site www.iolair.acnrep.com and send me an email, details on site.
This is a business and is not a get rich quick scheme, however with a good work ethic and a few hours a week, it is possible to earn a substantial income, and this is what is called a residual based income, ie do a job once and get paid monthly thereafter.
The beauty of this opportunity is that there is no selling, and I only work with people I know or meet.
Finally it is international and is seamless across N.America, Europe, Australia & New Zealand.
If you contact me I will get you talking to other ladies who make lots of money staying at home with their children

1. eBay: Get rid of stuff you don't need. You can keep track of it all online, while at home!
2. Craigslist.org (as the first person mentioned) is a great way to find some odd jobs that only require you to work from home.
3.Babysit: If you are at home with the children, you might as well get certified with CPR and get a license to be able to take care of children from your home. At the beginning, you will have to find a babysitter yourself to be able to get certified, but after that, you can just work from home. Parents drop off their child to you and you watch them until they are picked up from school. You will have to offer snacks and lunch, but that will be included in the price of what you charge the parents.
4. Wedding favors: You can make centerpieces from home for weddings, holiday parties, corporate parties. Make a few pieces, and put together a newsletter. Word of mouth is helpful but also target businesses. Remember, Valentine's day is coming up!

I am a consultant for Arbonne, which makes organically-based skin care, cosmetic and wellness products. I do it part time to make extra money, but a lot of stay at home moms do it and are very successful! Email me and I can guide you through the web site: sarahwarren428@yahoo.com. It is a really fun, easy business, and you can earn a great income!

Very simple start an Ebay business, its the same as starting any other business. Find suppliers and sell stuff.
The problem is running a business is more then full time work, its not something you do 1 or 2 hours and go play with junior, you do it 14-18 hours a day until it gets set up.

I have heard the best thing is to something related to what you did in the work place.
Short of that, there are several books on at home businesses. Start with your local library.
You could always watch someone else's child.
Selling stuff on ebay can be very lucrative if do right. Do you know anyone in the wholesale business?
It is very, VERY important that you avoid those "work at home" "address envelopes at home" come-on's. THEY ARE ALWAYS ALWAYS SCAMS DESIGNED ONLY TO PART YOU FROM YOUR MONEY!

I don't know but if you find something good let me know. You could do some babysitting from your home but if you are like me, my one 9 yr old daughter is all I can handle. I also paid 40.00 about a m onth ago to do the "get paid to take surveys" thing and that was a joke. Good luck though. I think instead of social security, we should get paid to stay home and be able to raise our children to be law abiding, morally responsible citizens. :) lol

I work for a privately owned and operated business. I just stay home with my kids and do the bookkeeping. It's very flexible and I don't have to deal with daycare.
