Can you walk through the Niagara Falls Festival of Lights?

I want to go to the Festival of Lights, and I know you can drive through the parks and view the lights, but can you walk? Thanks!

You most certainly can! You may want to take the car though and do it in groupings, because they do run for quite a few kms. There are 2 main areas where there are a lot grouped together. One set is the Disney set @ the base of Clifton hill, where close by walking is the little mini village and a new display that they put up this year (that I am not overly fond of), then you can cross and get some nice pics of the falls illuminated. Then the second concentration of motion light displays are down in Dufferin Islands, and those displays start at on end and and at the other. That area is really cool, the have millions and I mean millions of lights in that area, the trees look out standing the way they are done. I have never gotten out to walk these ones b/c they are so long and I am usually with my 4yr old nephew is loves the "festibal" but we do walk the Disney ones. It really is a site to see, looks really amazing with snow, but so far none of that happening. Well have fun!!

Remember the Festival ends Jan 8th this year, earlier then most years.

Yes, you can walk through the park. Just don't walk through the lights which are on the falls !
