I recently complained to BBC Three about the
never ending repeats of 'Two Pints Of Lager'
and 'Little Britain'.Although i like both programmes,
i'm a little bit tired of seeing the same old thing
night after night.
Part of the BBC's reply was,and i quote,
"BBC Television's aim is to show repeats only
where there is a genuine public interest and demand."
Was I right to complain or are you, the British
public, demanding to see these programmes over
and over again ?

You are right! Although I like both programmes, they are "doing them to death." I can understand they say it's due to public interest. Problem is do they really want them playing in a constant loop? I can't even remember how many times I have seen Johnnys' shooting in "Two pints" obviously too many to count. An I can't even be bothered with "Little Britain" any more!

Considering how we have tons of channels to choose from these days I don't mind, I love Two Pints and little Britain and if there's nothing else on it's great to watch them again, same goes for Sky One showing the Simpsons over and over again, it's soothing sometimes to settle down and watch something that you know is gonna make you laugh.

I know what you mean i personally don't like Little Briton but i do like 2 pints of larger a a packet of crisps but it is on every night and they don't show them in order now so one minute Donna's mum is dead and the next minutes she's alive then one night you watch and Janet is walking around with Carinthan and the next she is expecting him its so confusing even when i watch them all first time round,
but i would like to see Little miss Josselyn again because i miss it the first time round and i hear Andy McNair was in it which i would love to see him doing comedy after him begin in Hollyoaks!

Both are my favourite programmes ever, but yeah... They ALWAYS play the same ones! It's really annoying and now I don't wanna watch 'em all on DVD because I've seen certain episodes TOO MANY TIMES!!!!

That's what BBC3 is for. The 1st runs are on the main cannels 1 & 2. The same can be said for ITV2.

Five USA is even worse.

When they do their CSI Sunday they show 4 episodes, the 4th one is always a repeat of the 1st.
