Did they make a good choice by changing quarterbacks

The two losses with Cutler starting can't be blamed solely on him. The three games prior, Plummer's numbers and play were pedestrian at best. There's no way that Plummer being in there against San Diego would have changed the lop-sided loss, & I'm not convinced that the close loss to Seattle at home would have been different had Plummer been in there.

Cutler was going to start sooner or later. No team should discount the value of planning for the future, and Cutler is their QB of the future. Getting Cutler starting experience will help the team a lot down the road, IMHO. The most Plummer might have brought is a loss in the first round of the playoffs, if they even made it there.

Yes and even though they have a slim chance of making the playoffs this year they've got Cutler ready for the NFL. Which is important when u don't have a consistent QB like Plummer.

it doesn't look like it now, but they most likely wouldn't have ended up in the playoffs anyway. Who knows in the long run how the current one will do?
