Listen, people have their perspectives. People who are involved with media are more likely to be liberal (because they are more likely to be educated, less likely to be religious, more likely to be socially active, worldly conscious, and have a liberal iea of justice.) And to some extent, that's going to cloud some people's thinking and perspective. (Also, note that these days, because media is a business, it's what sells, not what's true.)
FOX has taken a different turn -- it has consciously hired people who are conservative to be not only commentators but reporters. It has sent out memoranda requiring a pro-conservative message. It finds "liberals" who are wishy-washy and easily persuaded to be on the other side.
Check out: "OutFoxed," a great documentary on the issue. http://www.outfoxed.org/

I have no problem with Fox being this way; I have a problem with Fox presenting their side as some sort of "fair" and "objective" perspective, when it's not that ever.
Are they, an upstart network run by a conservative british media mogul, seriously going to say that ALL of the media (every last person, every last story) is "unfair" and that their perspective IS fair? It's simply irrational.

I haven't heard anything unfair and biased on Fox news, but I have on all the other news stations. Just because you don't agree with what is reported doesn't make it wrong.

Why do I doubt you are unable to quote an example of its bias that you have personally watched?

I'm sure you can go to a website, where they sift through thousands of hours of tv to find a 20 second clip that looks bad, but can you quote a story that you personally saw that was bias?

C = JD - That comment of yours made me chuckle, because it's soooo verrrry true. If we biached and moaned about CNN and all the other liberal run news networks as much as they biached and moaned about our one and only network, they'd be at our throats. As it is we only point out the fact that all other news networks are liberal biased when they whine about Fox News.

Fox News is more sensationalist comedy than anything else. They claim that the mainstream media is liberal, yet they are the number one news network. So do they think the mainstream media is blogs and seldomly visited websites?

Sean Hannity reminds me of someone that has never left the small town they grew up in and really believes the whole world thinks like he does, splendid and hilarious!
