Aloha from Down Unda!
After touring the lobbies & casinos of all the strip hotels, tour the lobbies & casinos of the downtown hotels. Be sure to visit each and every shopping mall in the Vegas/Henderson areas but do not miss the FashionShowMall next to Treasure Island. It's my favorite. With fashion shows several times a day & the Apple Computer Store handy, food courts & shopping, it's air conditioned heaven! When not at the FashionShowMall, sitting at a nickel slot in any casino & the waitress brings the complimentary beer, it's impossible to be unhappy to flip a big tip & a grin.! Oh yeah...see the vast array of bargains at the 99cent stores too! If you're a good shopper, you'll appreciate the wide variety of values. L&L Drive In in Herderson has authentic Hawaiian Style plate lunches...I'm not homesick in there! 'Broke da moudt! Ummm...I can hardly wait. Have fun!

PS Be SURE to do some fine dining atop Stratosphere AND the restaurant at Paris (Eifel Tower)!

I love Las Vegas...I have been there many many times...I am quite the frugal one so I don't necessarily go there to gamble...I love walking down the streets and going through the hotels and just looking through all the shops....They have such awesome displays...and the Bellagio Hotel has a wonderful water fountain light-show in the evenings...... There are shows and a ton of stuff to do!

I have been twice....do everything that you have the money to do. There is so much more than gambling there. Take a day and go horse back riding through the mountains of Nevada. There is a place about 30 minutes...spectacular. Go to Old Las Vegas, they have some of the cheaper table games and the winnings are good. Make sure to walk through every casino, the sights are great.

View a bit of the city! Then crank into Sin City mode and go to Palm's casino, gamble, drink, have sex. Shower, have sex some more. Wake up in the morning, pig out on some good restaurant food, and probably move there!

I would go to the Buffets at Sahara or Boulder Station and other than that I would hit up all the cheap shrimp coctails. Playing the penny poker machines and getting virgin margaritas are the bomb.

Walk the strip (don't drive, you'll miss too much), visit Fremont Street (at night, to see the light show.) Hoover Dam is about an hour away, and Grand Canyon is about 5 hours away.
