Yes, I agree. Talk to your landlord right away. They may start an eviction process if you don't. Also, if you have children you may be qualified for an emergency check from your local welfare dept. (if you are in the US).

did you talk to the landlord to see if he/she could give you an extension??? Sometimes this helps
