why does every1 get so obsessed with what celebs do? they dont care about you or read about your stupid lives and obsess about it! they only care about you for one reason and thats for you buying there stuff so they make even more money to waste on stupid crap! in my opinion any teacher should make what celebs make...because they teach us to do the things we do! without them no one would make any money, and celebs should in turn make a teachers wages! who agrees????

in general it is just more entertainment, it helps people get through their days.
esp. people who have no lives can live vicariously through what the celebs do, and feel like they're involved in their lives.
It's supply and demand. They make tabloids and entertainment magazines because they sell. period. thats why they have paparazzi because people buy that stuff. (I don't).
As for teachers, in my experience there are a lot of hateful, spiteful people in that profession that are only doing it for the money and summers off, or because they can't do anything else.
celebs make people happy. teachers make people's lives a living hell.
there's a big difference there.

i agree i also think that our military should make what the proffesional sports players make as well and as for ppl caring about celebs its because they are sheep and its a tactic to keep ppl from seeing how the world and government really is thats y theres so many shows and "news updates" about every little thing a celeb does

basically it's because of exposure... celebrities are often seen almost everywhere, every moment of everyday... when someone had something over and over again it is stuck in your head and tend to retain the info about that thing ^^, some kindda like a last song syndrome

I ask myself the same thing, Stephanie. I don't get the idol worship thing, either.
As for paying teachers as much, that would be great, but I think probably unfeasible. There are so many teachers and not enough money.
