Oh sure. That's when you have to put part of that bite in your jaw and hold it for later while you concentrate on the main chewing at hand.

More often than not I bite off just the right amount. On the occasions that I don't plan ahead, or my planning falls short of the mark, I just put my head down and persevere.

Gnawing on something right now. My supervisor is in Russia, leaving me in charge. What a mistake, but there's a project that's starting early and I have to run with it or suffer the wrath of him when he gets back. Yes it is good to be me again. As you would say.
