Ever since I was young I have seen and heard things that nobody else has. For example when I was 14 I seen this thing and it talked to me it wanted me to go outside because it wanted to tell me my future I was too afraid to follow but the next day I seen it again and it changed form right in front of me at first a man then before it came to my bed it looked like a beast I was so afraid I couldn't move and eventually passed out. Another recent thing I was asleep but heard loud banging noises and it woke me up and I just laid there with my eyes closed listening and it got closer and closer like whatever it was knew I was awake when it finally got so close to my head I had to jump up nothing was there and the sound was gone why does this stuff happen to me am I psychotic or are these real?

It could be possible that you are gifted. I don't know much about you couldn't tell you if you were crazy or not. would have to spend time talking to you to see were your mental state is. Some people do have gifts. they often ask them selves the same question. Am I crazy? I never searched out controlling my gift. i shut it out. Gets a bit crazy. If your gifted be prepared to run into all kinds of spirits. Dark and light. I don't know how things work in the world of spirits, but some can cause for a pretty negative experience. If you can feel the spirits emotions you'll get a feeling of what ones you should steer away from.

Well recently I've been reading about dreams and it sounds like they could account for a lot of this.

Apparently people quite often have waking dreams in which they wake up (and are quite convinced that they are awake) but are actually still asleep. It is, from what I've read, extremely common for people to see ghosts, demons and aliens in these dreams, as well as have out of body experiences. Another common related experience I believe is called sleep paralysis. When you go to sleep your body normally kind of paralyzes you so that you don't flail around while you dream (sleep walkers obviously don't always get this to work right :D ). Sometimes people reportedly wake up but are still paralyzed. Some people have reported hallucinations of a demonic figure sitting on their chest keeping them from breathing (because you breathe more subtly when paralyzed). I had a hallucination/dream like that once where I woke up and was unable to move my body... I hallucinated or dreamt that two ghosts, a man and a woman were taking my life away from me. I couldn't call out for help for the longest time even after I got them to leave, nor could I roll over. Finally I was able to move. The creepy thing was that there was no seam between a dream and waking up (usually you have that "and then I woke up" moment).

Ghosts could be attributed to other things but this is one occasion where I actually think the scientific answer is more interesting than the folklore.

I hope you are not hallucinating but any spirts i have seen were either like a mist or in human form unless it was an animal by some chance and i think that has happened a few times. Different people could have different experiences but anything this far out you should be concerned about. Never be afraid to seek help if you think you need to. Some places tend to have more upsetting things happen there. Unually though i don't think it is the place but the person who experiences things. I try not to usually. anyway what you just wrote is scarry enough to start writting a book!

I'd say you are experiencing something. I won't rule out ghosts because I've seen them. I often saw ghosts when I was younger and as I've gotten older I don't see them as much, but I do sense them. Some people would say you're seeing Satan and are posessed. I personally don't buy into that.
It could be that you are more open to recieving spirtual visitations.
The only way you will know if its a medical problem is to see a doctor. And you can run into some issues there. They may not believe you, or they'll tell you that its all in your head.

I am a person who never seen ghost and don't ever want to see one either and it is hard for me to believe in them, but about a year ago I was dating this guy and he told me that he could see ghost. He was a nice guy that never lied to me about any thing and he really liked me so he felt that he could tell me anything. I looked at him like he was a nut and he looked backed at me the same way and said "oh my god girl, you never seen a ghost before, because I see them all the time in my basement" where he sleeps. He told me on Christmas he seen a lady in a red dress standing next to his tree and on another occassion he saw a little blonde girl next to his bed. I was thinking that maybe old spirits still live in his house, he also told me that his mother is able to see ghost also. Maybe some people are just born certain ways. Maybe your not psychotic or anything maybe you just have that gift to see on the other side!

I used to see these dancing violet/whitish orbs that danced and zig-zagged over my room when I was growing up -- it was very magical and made me feel all tingly inside -- but "the show" only ever happened on Christmas Eve and the night before Easter. And I was never particularly Christian...so I didn't "wish" this part.

Then, when I went off to college it stopped, except for a couple more times when I was home visiting. Then years, later, I was hanging out with this man who had the hots for me. And he was studying accupuncture and claimed to see all this stuff on the "other side" and everything.

I was curious so when he suggested one day that we meditate together to reach a higher frequency, I accepted and invited him over. We were sitting in my living room talking, and spiraling out of his eyes came those same crazy, spiraling orbs! I kid you not! One, after the other they spiraled out of his eyes, past my nose, and out the window. Their color turned from violet/whitish to black and ugly! I got really scared, becuase this guy was pretty "dark" anyway.

So, I asked him to leave. Thank god, he did. But, before I got freaked out I asked him if he was "seeing" the same thing. He acted nonchalant and said "everybody sees it differently." I'm not sure what he was doing, but I think he was concentrating pretty hard to make me see those glowing orbs. The hairs on my carpet were glowing, too.

No, I wasn't on any drugs. And yes, psychics have always told me I was "sensitive." I am also manic-depressive. And I'm a creative writer. It kind of all goes together, like everything else. Personally, I wouldn't want it any other way.

But, your descriptions sound scary and you should talk to professionals about how to deal with them.

You may not be psychotic, but it is not real either. Peoples beliefs mean nothing next to the evidence. So, no matter how many so called phychics tell you these things are real, they are not. Seek professional help.

Suggestion: Surround yourself with brilliant white light, from under your feet and up to your mighty I Am Presence. Affirm: Only beings of the highest light are allowed to contact me.
Call upon your personal angel for protection in every circumstance.
Do not delve in any witchcraft or any other lower energies.
Good luck and blessings!
PS. No you are not crazy, just more psychically open than most.

I don't want to alarm you, but hallucinations may be an indication of schizophrenia or some other mental illness. Now, it could be all a misunderstanding, but you owe it to yourself to see a mental health professional, just in case. If it starts to really impact your life, you need to seek help. There are medications that can help you live a more comfortable life.
I personally don't believe in ghosts, but I know some folks who do.
