in his fare well speech, kofi annan hits out at the usa accusing the us of committing human rights abuse in the name of fighting terror in iraq. i feel he should have resigned if he felt the usa's policy was detrimental to the world peace. what is your reaction to his final speech bashing the usa?

Kofi Annan doesn't work for the USA. He worked for the UN. Why should he quit the UN when the USA is doing wrong. How can you oppose the USAs abuses if you quit your job.

Money my dear Money. Kofi Annan is no saint after all a common man from a very poor african country. If resigned he would have lost US dollors he got through his pay check. In the final speech he bashed the USA there is no chance of getting any US dollors.

lol resign to make other people use it for the sake of other countries
USA used the religion war against iraq for four reasons
1) to collect more supporters from americans as the new cruasder war and americans must stand behind it
2) oil because russian companies were monopolize the use of oil there
3) israel never want any power in the area , and iraq doesnt accept american policy
4) for attacking iran
its not war against islam but its war against human rights , islam used as a reason for this war to collect more supporters from american people

No. Why should he have resigned if he thought the US was doing a bad job? That's up to John Bolton and folks. And I don't blame him for hating the US, he's had to try and negotiate with them after all!
