alot of people regardless of gender denies it. i guess ignorance is a bliss, its easier to just pretend it never happened than to look at pictures and read stories of the victims. i believe it happened humans do possess some real evil. reality may be more evil than what we see in movies.

Yes, I agree. But I am also in disbelief that some women don't realize the extent of sexism and its effect on themselves in various areas including employment and healthcare in the US. And I am in disbelief with women who suck up to men and then discriminate against and otherwise act sexist toward other women! And damn angry about it as well.

The truth is, "ignorant people wouldn't know the truth, even it kicked them in the butt". They look at the world through "rose colored glasses" and pretend their own world is perfect. Then they refuse understand anyone else's world... It's sad, really.

this is true. the Bible explains that people's eyes are blind until they are opened by faith in Christ. So they will believe anything, including strong delusions. See 2 Thessalonians 2:11
