Okay...so in a few months my husband and I are going to start trying for a child! yeah! I just went to the doctor and all my inside/tests yearly exam all came back good. She even looked under a microscope. She said i'm great! But heres the thing.....My husband and I have been having unprotected sex for 5 years. He uses the withdraw system...His medication causes him to have a less sex drive so we don't do it as much as we use to do it...but around once a week or so...I just learned all about the whoel ovulation thing and how to get pregnant...So, I can't ever tell you if I did it on those days or when that was going on.... My fear is that I won't be able to get pregnant because of this situation. With us having sex for 5 years without getting pregnant...My doctor even looked at me, LIKE WOW! Has anyone of had this...and then got pregnant when they tried. Any situations?

No it merely potential you're very fortunate. I used the withdrawal technique for 3 years and by no potential have been given pregnant. Now I also have a effective infant boy who's 11 months previous. A women merely has a pair of seventy two hr window in a month while she gets pregnant yall could have merely no longer had intercourse in the process that element.

It could be anything, low sperm count, does your husband wear briefs? Sperm needs to be a few degrees below body temp to be most effective; have him change to boxers. Or maybe that's just the way it is for you two. I know a couple who were married for years, then had one son, then no more, no birth control or anything. Some people's compatibility is just like that. I've heard of couples who've tried for years then separated and got pregnant right away with someone else.
The most important thing is to relax and don't worry about it. We've all heard of couples who spaz out trying for years, then decide to adopt so they stop worrying and suddenly become pregnant. So my best advice is relax and enjoy each other.

There's a 24-48 hour window in any cycle that a woman may conceive and those times you may have had sex wth your husband, may have been times when you weren't fertile. The best way is to chart ovulation by observing cervical mucus. I recommend using the Creighton Model.

The withdrawal method is actually a reasonably effective method of birth control. I used it for almost a year, and when we started trying we got pregnant the first month!

It is 80%-90% effective. So don't worry and GOOD LUCK!
