There really is no way to tell FOR SURE in less you actually catch him but I'll give you some warning signs to watch out for (I've caught more then one dirty dog this way) If you have some damaging evidence you can usually get them to confess do heres some things to look for.
Being secretive of whos calling or going into other rooms all the time when your around and he gets a phone call.
Making excuses to go places then you find out he wasn;t really there.
Talk to other people, if hes cheating chances are someone probably know about it.
If you see him right after he's done it smell can be a good indicator also he may lose interest in sex.
Does he seem nervous when you ask him about it?
Does he have really dumb excuses for the lies you catch him in??
But i think the biggest question of all id do you feel in in your gut??? Everytime a boyfriend has done this to me my stomach flips over, call it woman intuition i guess. Finally if you have a good reason to suspect it your probably right! sorry!

He will start acting really strange and he will want to be in bed with you every 5 minutes

if he never seems to have time to be around you, or if he doesn't seem to want to have sex with you all of the time, then he's cheating.
