Sad to say... but yes, all the time.
I mailed out 44 cards last week. So far zero have been received and I really am not counting on many.
Oh well, I did my Christmas cheer and can rest well!

That would be everyone on my list this year and half in years past. Most of the folks I know aren't into the Christmas card thing. And this year feels like consumer - spend-it- before-you-earn -it day than an actual holiday...so...

But don't let it get you down. Despite being a scrooge this year, it's the thought that counts, not the # of people who reciprocate.

I send out about 80 or more cards each year....sure, some don't reply. But that doesn't stop me, I'll send them one next year anyway. Christmas isn't about getting something in return, Christmas is about Christ's Love, and letting others know you care.

Every year...Christmas is the giving season...it's not about what you get in return for it! Some family and friends can't afford it..doesn't mean they don't appreciate it!

Well yes.. but the point is to "give" right?
Although it would be nice to get some sort of response at least to say they got it.
Cheers!

Always. But I can always count on Helzbergs jewelers to send me one every year. At least someone loves me

Yep, it dont bother me though. I guess the theory that, 'It's better to give than to receive" is true for me.
