It happens after i turn off running water or after i flush the tiolet. PLZ Help!

it sounds like the water hammer has caused a solder joint to fail. get a plumber in to correct that and find and fix the leak. sooner rather than later, or you'll have bigger headaches.

1. Find the drip, if there is one and make sure you fix it. Water is destructive.
2. The knocking comes from air in the pipes or pipes not secured or a combination of both. You need to find out where the noise is coming from. You may need to bleed or have a plumber bleed the pipe. Or, you may need to get at it, if its accessible and secure the pipe.

you can buy valves at Lowe's that stop water hammer. they screw onto your hot and cold water outlets and then your hose-es from your washing machine threads onto them. very easy. i used them and it fixed the problem. they are about $11.00 each. you will need two.
