Is an emachines T3828 desktop computer with 256MB and 80GB a decent computer? What's a good price to ask for this computer?

I would spring for something with a bit more RAM, but it's a low-end decent computer for simple stuff like e-mail and light surfing. It really also depends on the processor.

Are you asking for a used price, or for a new price? If you are trying to spring for a new emachine that is low on price, I just found this on their website:

http://www.emachines.com/products/products.html?prod=T3516

Again, it's a little middle of the road, but it would work for light purposes.

Buying a used emachine like that would probably go somewhere in the $250 -$350 range.
