Terrorism by far.

But terror is merely a symptom of the greater problem: Islamic radicalism which is hell bent on destroying the West, specifically the United States.

There are simply too many unanswered questions about Global warming. People like tangerine pretend that it is a fact, but it remains a theory and a weak one at that.

Right now, terrorism is more pressing, but there is more we can do to stop global warming, since we created the latter but not the former.

Of course, I do not recall in my lifetime a December 13th that was this warm (about 55 degrees F.) and when people are still cutting their grass, but even though that is pressing, it is not fatal like car bombs and hijacked planes.

So in conclusion, terrorism is a much more immediate threat, but the most we as American citizens can do to stop terrorism (or any country's citizens) is to go on with our daily lives; global warming will not affect humanity negatively for decades or more, but we can do many things to stop it before it does so right now (look at DiCaprio's question for many good answers and advice on how).

Okay, Alex. You already know the answer to this question.

Obviously, global warming is not working quickly enough to take care of that list of people that we don't really like. I heard on the news that scientists found out that the polar ice caps on Mars are melting as well. It can't be a solar warming cycle so it must be that all of those big SUVs that we are driving. :)

Sarcasm is my best quality:)

This is how I picture it in my mind. If we had a spinless creep of a President, such as some in the past (no need to name names), then he would run off with a squeal, whimpering with his tail between his legs after he nipped at their ankles with the first F-Bomb. (reminds me of a hyena... sneaky, dumb and cowardly)

Thank God that isn't the case. We have a President who stands up for what he believes in and protects his family (NAMELY US) from being attacked by terrorists and other communists or other countries who just don't like us. They hate us for our freedoms. They hate us for our religion. They hate us for our power as a Country. But, of course, that's only because the ACLU turned them down. We also look out for other countries. That's what makes America a great place to live.

I never knew my own dad (he died when I was young), but I would hope that he had half the protectiveness over me, his daughter, that our President does over us, his country.

I love our President and everything that he has done to protect us.

I'd probably go 70/30 terrorism over global warming..

now for the personal opinion: if someone other than Bush were running the country.. (there are even many republicans I would prefer over him) I wouldn't be as worried about terrorism..

Terrorism is a more pressing concern. If allowed to spread unchecked the terrorists would wipe out anyone that doesn't believe the way they do.

As for Global warming if it is real we will never be able to reverse the effects. I guess people missed the news about how animals effect our environment in negative ways also by passing gas. And I'm sorry folks I love animals (At times even more then I do my fellow human beings and I would never advocate animal genocide to try and save this planet we live on.)

They are both pressing matters. The question should be, what is the best way to fight them?
Terrorism, we just kill, take their money, and never give up in our pursuit to protect the innocent.
Global Warming is a little more difficult. Sure, we can all screw the western economy so that China can pollute 100 time more than the west, but will this actually solve the problem? More research into alternative, cleaner energy is needed.

I believe that the Liberals in America are making both very serious situations, you have the left wing of America more concerned with getting in power and bashing the white house administration, than a radical religion waging war on our country and culture and they are also trying to help turn other countries against us. The have a lot of nerve, how can we address global warming when your under attack from inside your own country, Dems think they can get back to the white house buy burning down America, they make me sick.

Well, the immediate threat is def terrorism.

But, if you think beyond ones self and about humanity as a whole as well as future generations, It would have to be both.

Terrorism can end all life on this planet with nuclear holocaust it needs to be eradicated.

Global Warming without a doubt will end all life on this planet(whether you believe its man made or natural cycles)

So I would say for our immediate future its Terrorism, but for future generations they are probably equal in their impending DOOM.
