I don't think it is a matter of black and white anymore, more as a result of a hip-hop culture. The hiphop culture has been around for almost 3 decades now, so people growing up in it...no matter the race can become a part of it. And how exactly do "black" people dress? Because I know many black people and they all dress differently...some conservative/preppy, some casual and some dress "street". I also know white people who dress in all sorts of ways. You must live in a small town without access to many different types of people, how boring.

You know what?
I'm ashamed of you. What the hell is wrong whith you? Just because a white guy is wearing loose clothing means he trying to "act black"? So if a black guy where a suit and tie he is trying to "act white"? Why is this such a problem for you? Do you really go around in your asking black people why white people are trying to act black? Get a life!

How does a person "Act" Black (or) White?. Are there some sort of stipulations, that a person who is just being themselves,is acting a certain way?. Because most African Americans wear certain types of clothing,ANYONE can buy the clothing as long as they have the money!. You WILL NOT walk into a clothing store, and find a "Sign",that says:
"THESE FASHIONS ARE ONLY TO BE PURCHASED BY "BLACK PEOPLE" . "YOU CANNOT PURCHASE THESE ITEMS,IF YOU ARE NOT BLACK" . (Fool!). You are also lying, about your co-workers!. This is purely your own "Racist Stupidity". If you fell better wearing a white shirt and tie,so be it!. Because you have nothing to say about how your co-workers dress, nor are you footing the bills to pay for them, then keep quite! (OK?).

i understand what you are talking about and i don't like it myself but that has nothing to do with disrespecting your own race. i speak well. does that mean i act white. a lot of people say i talk white. exactly what is "talking white"? I do speak correct english but that is not talking white because a lot of white people i know speak broken up english. and the white guys who are "dressing and talking black" are just a little more comfortable dressing and talking that way. they are probably not comfortable speaking proper english. that does not make them bad and please don't stereotype them. everyone has a choice and if that is the choice is what they like then SO BE IT.

I think that people see things on TV that they think is cool, so thats what they want to buy or be like. Its sad that people can't just be themselves...and honestly race isn't even an issue. Society has quite a hold on us doesn't it?
