Exactly right...I agree with you totally. Everyone whines about it being the womans choice, but what about the baby? Did anyone ask him or her if they wanted to live or die?
To the second person...Since its not conscious then its not a human? SO then someone in a comma is not a human?
To the third person...So because it cant speak for itself its ok to kill it? Newborns cant speak for themselves..so then do we kill them too if the parent doesnt want them? You guys make no sense at all. Its ridiculous.

You need two people to have a discussion and unfortunately when one of the two involved can not speak then the speaker does get the overall say. The one that can not speak doesn't ask to get aborted, but they probably wouldn't ask to be conceived in the first place. Again this is the choice of the speaker. It's why as the speaker we have to be mature enough to make a baby and be responsible for the choices of the baby from conception until they are adults. Everyone make different choices for different reasons, who are we to judge others. Everyone should get on with there own life's, we all have our own problems to solve and take care of in life.

ABSOLUTELY!! I am totally against abortion and have always believed that life began at conception. A child is so precious and should be cherished. I think that any way you get this message out is a positive thing! Speaking your mind whether on a message board or in public, someone is bound to hear you. And if you change just one mind, well that is something to be proud of.

When Elizabeth was 6 months pregnant, she was led by God to go see her cousin Mary. Since she was 6 months farther along than Mary, Mary had just conceived. The Bible says that the baby inside Elizabeth "jumped" when in close proximity to the Saviour. It is a wonderful word picture of when life begins. One baby recognized another!
This tells me that the baby is alive AT THE MOMENT OF conception.

Thank you so much. Its been SCIENTIFICALLY PROVEN that the baby has its own seperate DNA. At 8 weeks every organ and body part is present and though at a very earl stage in life it is still a life with their own choices, sadly they depend on us,already living to make life altering choices for them and their own mommies will take them in to be sucked into a tube :(
CONTRACEPTION IS A CHOICE,A RIGHT,AN OBLIGATION. BABY'S ARE THE RESULT OF THE LACK OF.
The baby didnt just appear, the baby was made becauses of the choices you already made.

I agree..I think it's murder personally! and if the womens is mature enough to open her legs..then she should be mature enough to either raise it or give it up for adoption so that another family has the chance to love and care for that baby! why do most women on here ask about ABORTION instead of ADOPTION?? hasn't it ever occured to anyone that many women have a hard time conceiving and would love to give that child a home...I thinks it just being selfish on their part..they don't want the baby yet they don't want anyone else to be able to enjoy that child either.

at conception the baby has the same number of chromosomes as a human. That's enough for me.

Mice have a heart beat -- does that make them self-aware human beings? No -- and neither does a fetus' heart beat.
You kind of made your own point...the fetus cannot speak for itself, since it is not self-aware, is not capable of surviving outside of the womb, and so isn't yet a human being.
Our society has decided, through the highest court in the land, that before a fetus is capable of surviving on its own outside of the womb it's just cells that are part of the woman's body. You may not like that -- fine. Then don't have an abortion. But stop trying to control the lives of others who don't agree with you, and who have the support of the law.

Yup, but writng on some silly message board isn't going to change anyone's mind. Spend your time doing something that might actually help our cause, like volunteering for woman's group or something.
