How Can I Get my bf to stop?

hanging out with this friend of his. he is really bad influence, and he is an a** hole i don't like him bacause of this reason. my bf doesn't see it. and he kinda changed, because he always smokes now, and some times i want to be with him and he desides to smoke "since is already there then why not" but i know my bf loves me is just if he could stop hanging with this boy just to smoke.

THIS PERSON GOOD OR BAD WAS IN HIS LIFE BEFORE YOU, MEN HAVE A CERTAIN LOYALTY TO THERE FRIENDS THAT WOMEN SHOULDN'T USUALLY TRY TO ENTER FEAR WITH UNLESS THEY ASK FOR OUR ADVICE BECAUSE THINGS COULD TURN UGLY BETWEEN YOU TWO. YOUR HIS WOMAN NOT HIS MOTHER AND IN HIS EYES YOU LOOKING OUT FOR HIM IS GONNA TURN INTO YOU TRYING TO POLICE HIM AND HIS ACTIONS OR TRYING TO BE HIS MOTHER AND MEN HATE THAT. HE'S GROWN AND HE'S GONNA DO WHAT HE WANTS TO DO YOU CANT FORCE HIM. DO YOU LOVE HIM ENOUGH TO LIVE WITH THIS OR WAIT IT OUT(AND IT COULD TAKE A WHILE) MEN HAVE TO BUMP THERE HEADS ALOT SOMETIMES BEFORE THEY REALIZE "HEY SHE WAS RIGHT AND SHE WAS JUST TRYING TO LOOK OUT". IT'S REALLY NOT HIS PROBLEM IT'S YOURS SO YOU HAVE TO DECIDE FOR YOURSELF IS HE WORTH WEATHERING THIS STORM..? Honey - you need to give it up. You cannot control him and any attempt to control him is going to leave you the odd man out.

This isn't a battle worth fighting. If you want a non-smoking boyfriend you need to let him know that that is not ok with you and that if he continues to smoke you will be finding someone else to hang out with. You have to carry through with this of course.
If you don't like his friend - get over it. The friend has a lot more pull than you do at this point. If you are worried about the smoking - tell him how you feel and then make your decision. But either way - you cannot control him...you're not his mom.

Have you tried telling him how you feel on the subject? If your goal for discussing this with your boyfriend is to make him stop hanging out with his friends, you are only going to find yourself severly disappointed. You may see this person as an *** hole, but he apparently does not. Maybe there are parts of this person your boyfriend really likes. Let him know how uncomfortable you feel about this situation.

Why don't you want him to smoke? Are you concerned about his health? If this is the case, tell him! Almost every relationship problem can be solved with a little understanding and a lot of communication.

Decide what your limits are adn if you can't deal with it he nedds to know. If he loves you he'll stop with out a doubt.

tell him it bothers you, if he really loves you he will quit smoking with this boy and spend more time with you.
