Its been 6 months since i stopped breast feeding my baby, but still i seem to have milk in my breasts, can any body tell me how long will it take for my breast to dry? forgive my poor English...

It can take a couple of years. I stopped nursing and had milk for 2 years. My doctor said that he could give me a pill to dry it up or I could wait for it to stop on its own. He did a blood test and it showed that I had a high amount of Lactin (milk hormone) still in my blood. There was nothing to worry about and I let it dry up naturally. I still get small amounts of milk if I squeeze my breasts, but nothing that bothers me.

It can stay over a year. Use breast pads and cabbage leaves to help.
