give your dog(s) their Christmas gifts. Mine gets so excited, it's hysterical. Then he goes nutso when he gets the toy, runs around playing with it for like 20 minutes non stop, and then sits there panting with his eyes wide open like he just ran 5 miles. Is this not the most fun or what? I guess it's the next best thing to having kids to watch on Christmas morning.

When I had dogs, I must say I have. I have also been blessed to enjoy monkeys (growing up, when I was much younger). I now have a parakeet and a cat that equily love Christmas morning. Not to mention all the sights and sounds from Thanksgiving to Thanksgiving.
Yes they are our family. The word pet is not a part of our vocabuary.
Just as I was taught and taught my girls, I have taught our special members to treasure all of hollidays. Birthdays included.
Our parakeet (Hercules) insists on tasting each type of baked goods we make for Christmas. He gives us a list for Romeo (cat) and himself each year. He cracks us up all the time.
Have a Blessed Merry Christmas and New Year, to you and your entire fanily and friends.
