Women can go through a whole host of different skin changes during pregnancy. I wouldn't be too concerned if I were you, but bring it up at your next appt.

Man... I remember that itchy belly stuff! lol. Cocoa butter helps a lot with that. Regular lotion will too, but the cocoa butter puts a nice thick coating on the belly that seems to last longer than regular lotion.

And everyone says that you can't prevent stretch marks... and I think that's partially true since it has a lot to do with the elasticity in your skin. But I used cocoa butter with all 4 of my babies and I have hardly any stretch marks. None on my belly, but a couple on my hips. I swear, I think that the cocoa butter helped at least a little.

Congrats and good luck! =0)

I noticed this with mine, but I think it's because the skin is stretched (I don't have marks either at 29 weeks), and the belly button itself is more shallow, so the white is probably just skin that's usually inside the belly button.

It is the skin streching, you might not have strech marks yet, but your belly is still expanding. I was petite when I got pregnant, I had strech marks only on my boobs. After I had my baby, I had a few on the sides(not really noticiable). My belly itched too. Best thing to do is use the honey bee balm from target, It helps alot.

It could just be the tightness of the skin pulling it and giving off a lighter color. Not necessarily a stretch mark, but if it is be glad that is the only one and in a spot that is kind of hidden.

It might be a rash that pregnant people get when they are farther along. My friend got it. The best thing to do is not itch it and see a dr. about it soon.
