You swing to the Asylum

Sweet finally not a Bush basher. I see you are on the "Right" side. You only see the side of the Iraq war the media wants you to see. That is one reason for all the Bush bashing. Do you really think Bush wants to see our young people die everyday? I doubt it very highly. We are there for a reason and its not just to liberate Iraq. Saddam was just an excuse to put our men in place. Take a look at the build up we have over their. Wed pummel the Islamic fundamentalist if we really wanted. We are their for a reason and I think we will find it out very soon.

The right

Bush is a republican. We consider republicans to the right and democrats to the left. Which doesn't necessarily make you either. You could be a independent who votes for who you like not for which party you affiliate yourself with.

You may want to look into the issues and into what is going on in the world politically before you decide if you like someone or not....kind of a disturbing Yahoo ques you have....

You swing to the right because he is the leader of the GOP (republicans) which are typically more conservative. Strictly speaking, however, Bush adn the Republicans have been SOCIAL conservatives (Gay marriage, Abortions Stem Cell etc) and FISCALLY liberal (spending money left and right).
Rule of thumb is Democrat left and Republicans right. There are always exceptions to the rule of course.

If you like Bush then you should swing from a scaffold along with him.

if you don't know much about his politics then you shouldn't say you have an opinion about him.. get informed and then decide if you like him or not... also.. don't base your party on one man.. if everyone did that then there would be almost no republicans at the moment.

Most importantly.. make up your own mind about issues.. don't let someone else tell you how to think about something.

Bush is a centrist. That is why he is not liked. The partisian nature of the nation is such that the libs hate him because he is not a democrat and the republicans hate him because he is not conservative enough.

I'd be careful asking a question like this... Only you and your wife would know of course... I am sure Bush doesn't.
