Are you referring to white bed linen or white linen fabric?
In general, cold water removes fresh blood stains easy.
Hydrogen peroxide speeds the process -- you can see it bubble and foam away. If the stains have been set by drying in a dryer, soaking in hydrogen peroxide works. Don't soak indefinately becaue it can weaken the fabric. Overnight should work. Avoid hot water, salt, and beach.

To remove fresh blood stains from fabric, dab the stained area with hydrogen peroxide on a cloth or paper towel. You can get this product at any drug store. The stain will lift right out and not discolor or damage the fabric.

I know this worked on some of my fabric I am not sure it will work on linen though. Spray a little non-aerosol hairspray on the spot, rub, and soak in cold water : D

dissolve a tablespoon of salt in a little hot water in a basin and top up with cold water. Steep garment in this overnight and wash as normal. Try rubbing some extra salt on the stain when the cloth is wet, before washing it.
