2001: A Space Odyssey. The story is told completely through ground-breaking photography. There is very little dialogue in th emiddle of teh film, and none at all in the first and last 15 minutes. Also, it doesn't look as dated as many contemporary sci-fi films. Breathtaking, the kind of film cinema was invented for.
