For some reason teenagers often confused ignorant and arrogant. They say "Should I do such and such or would that be arrogant?" I flames me. Get a dictionary, you illiterate cabbages!

Edification. It means to build up something with religious knowledge or intention. I know some people who use it as synonym with "satisfaction."

Inappropriate use of the past perfect tense makes me nuts. This is people who put too many "had's" into sentences. They say things like "She had went to the store" when what is really meant is "She went to the store."

I have to claim some responsibility for the use of fantabulous. I use that word often. It's in a number of Van Morrison songs, in case no one knows how it might have gotten into the lexicon.

Well one thing that drives me nuts is people using "European" spellings. This is America, and I am not referring to in Yahoo but here in America specifically, so why can't we just use the AMERICAN Spelling. For instance we dropped the U from Color long ago, it isn't colour anymore. Just like I hate when people use Grey. Yes they are technically correct, but so is Centre. That isn't the American spelling though

When laughing at a joke, someone says, "that's hysterical." What they should say is, "that's hilarious."
