She may be overreacting just a little bit, and of course if you are his friend then you would take up for him. I'm a recovering addict and I had to learn the hard way. She is more than likely worried that if he is still using and they get back together, that Social Service's would get involved which they will. If he really want's to stop using he can. He just has to have the want to. Not for anyone but his self. There are alot of great rehab's out there and I would suggest this to him. If he want's to be a part of his girlfriend and baby's life then this would be the best route for him to choose. If not, then he can just keep on using and there is nothing you, your sister, or his girlfriend can do about it. If he doesn't have insurance, I'm not sure what state you are in, but there are alot of State Funding just for this type of situation. If you need anymore help, please feel free to e-mail me. gogojojo_74@yahoo.com. Good Luck.

Your sister's friend is thinking about what should concern her most, and that's her baby's well-being. With the substances her boyfriend is using--and the fact that he's a dealer--he doesn't seem exactly suitable to be a father.

Suppose he gets arrested, or killed in a deal that's gone bad for some reason? What if he left the cocaine or Oxycontin out where the baby--who will grow into a toddler sooner than one thinks--could get into it? Little ones put everything into their mouths, sometimes with fatal results.

If the boyfriend is serious about the relationship and his child, he'll get the help he'll need to kick his habits--and stop dealing.

well if he is using and dealing she must keep the baby away because department on human services could take the baby away from her otherwise. It would surprise a person who easy it is for them to become a part of your life. all a person has to do is make 1 call and if the baby has been exposed to drugs they will be taken away!!! Yes he may be a good person but if he loves the baby he needs to get help for himself its not worth loosing a child!!!

i think whatever she is doing is right because her boy friend's bad addiction can affect her baby also it is better to leave that person becuse there are only three reason wh crimes occur in this world:
1.love
2.money
3.addiction

and the third one is really dangerous so i think whatever she is doing is right.and even she is not leaving him she is just forcing him to leave addiction so it will give better result but ya she will have to show her baby's face as it is noy hers only n that drugtaker may leave drugs for his own baby
