I would like to hear suggestions on what to do that special night. My husband and I live in a big city and we don't want to pay ridiculous amount of money to go to a bar or a hotel and be around a bunch of strangers and neither be in a public crowd since it's cold outside and traffic paralyzed. I would love to hear suggestions and ideas. Thank you in advance. Happy Holidays to you!

We usually have some friends come over, go out to dinner early then go home and just hang out.

Jehovah's Witnesses do no longer have fun New Years because of the fact the celebrations originate with worship of pagan gods. to boot, new years is often linked with heavy eating, something else that Jehovah's Witnesses do no longer take part in. As to your acquaintances, it incredibly is achieveable that they simply had acquaintances over on condition that human beings often have time without work from artwork at New Years. although, i won't talk for them, and all and sundry ought to respond to for their very own strikes.

I will stay at home. Call people and also send e-mails. Then I have a plan to watch DVD and eat something good. If I got time then I will read books write jokes, make animations etc etc.
PS* have to make new year cards too.
