i am having problems starting my van turn the key to the on position and no power to the starter everything else works but motor will not crank. i have tried just about everything. if you jump the leads on the solenoid it will crank but the wire going to the s terminal on the solenoid is not getting any power. checked every fuse and just about every wire. if i connect a scan tool to the plug under the dash it says there is a linking error. could the computer be causing it, the anti theft device for the key, or maybe the neutral safety switch ? i dont know please help

i think the ignition swich works because i have power to the yellow 10 gauge wire under the dash coming from the switch. when i first got it the van did crank it sat for a couple of months battery drained and i charged it up and then put a 200 amp starter/jumper on it to crank it and crank it the last time i tried to crank it it wouldn't

tif your scan tool shown an error, the fuse is burn. there are two fuses. one is pcm/crank(10 amp fuse) and pcm/abs fuse(10 amp fuse)

you are in anti-theft mode. start with getting a key, or it may be the ignition switcth itself
