It is the best weapon for politicians to draw the attention of the public from critical issues like poverty, hunger, food shortage, islamic terrorism. When ever things go wrong party in power announces new reservations to new groups some times based on religion and at the same opposition parties criticize that move. But the same opposition parties when they come to power do the same thing like Ping Pong. The ball which is hit by the players is common public. A simple question why we need reservations at all? Are they really doing any good to the public? Nothing.

No doubt we need a comprehensive review on the implementation and impact of reservation system. But it should not be centered with a negative attitude towards the sections who are expeced to get benefit out of reservations. We should have sympathetic view to see that real eligible should get the benefit and it should lead for a social harmony and equity, besides justice.
