im going to a murder mystery party, set in the 1950's at part for celebrities. my character i an actress who like to audition lying down. any ideas of what to wear for that era?

an actress that auditions lying down? don't really understand that description but you should check out the attached website for clothing of the era. Lots of the things from the '50's are now back in style. Big belts, higher waisted pants/skirts, etc.

take an apron and put fake blood on it. first put fake blood all over your hand and just wipe across the apron(white apron). this is what i did for halloween one year...and carry around a fake knife and think of some things fort ypuirsle fna look on google for murder mystery party costume,..

you should try to wear a black long coat.. with some boots..and maybe u should try wearing some jeans...i guess?
