i highly doubt you'll find one in a gamestore that's part of a chain

perhaps you can find one in a used second hand game store - but if they only sell games, they don't last long - competition with the internet kills those stores

pawn shops are possible - i hear good things about them, but never tried it

flea markets... it's so difficult to pin point exactly where the item you want is

there is nothing wrong with buying on the internet - you can even mail a money order usually, so there is only the transfer of your address. and it's not like a seller is going to stalk you

you *might* think it's a risk to send a system through the mail, but it's really not that bad. don't pay more than 27 dollars for an N64 though

Best I can do for you is Rivertown Flea Market in Alexandria La.
That's a long, but not impossible, drive from Houston. You can check out their website at rivertownflea.com. If that's too far, I would check similiar flea markets in the Houston area: you are looking for some place that isn't antique, but very generic - lots of different type of stuff. Ask some women who are in their 30-50's.
One of seven will know where you can go.

EB Games, Gamestop, Rhino or some other local video game store that sells used game systems. The flea market or garage sell route is another alternative. Pawn shops may have it but they typically are higher priced then necessary.

Save some money and then trade in those games for a Wii.

Soon you will be able to download all of your 64 games to it.

Second hand video game stores. EB Games no longer stocks so you have to find a second rate.

Try a pawn shop, a resale shop or garage sale. It is so outdated, I doubt they sell them new anymore.
