More than likely they are Jehovah's Witnesses. It is a Christian religion with many of the same beliefs as most, but they have some "different" views. I went to school with a girl whose parents were of that faith. She had to leave the room when we said the Pledge of Allegiance. It made her feel like an outcast. I wish parents were more considerate when forcing their views on their children. Your bf will no doubt have issues for a long time to come. Love and patience are called for in this case. Best of luck!

All pagan ideals celebrate Christmas because it is the position it originates. Christ is a pagan time period ie, Mithra Christos. It comes from the note Crysta as in crystalline, the illuminating enlightening one. The solar. in the iciness the solar symbolically dies by using dropping lower than the horizon, yet by using twenty fifth december is clearly above the horizon back. The solar in the go constellation in the course of the spring equinox. it really is an annual journey. It exhibits the resurrection of life after its lack of life in the iciness. it really is a fertility competition, subsequently the fertility eggs and bunnies. operating in route of Shaman... quantum physics rocks.

Some of us would just rather avoid all of the insanity altogether. People are at their most irritating during the holiday season. I usually just lay low and ignore the whole thing until it's over.

Not everyone is a christian. Your boyfriend's family is probably Jehova's witness. They celebrate nothing and have no parties. Also they might be athiests that have no religious affiliation at all.

People have different religious beliefs. Christmas has no meaning for some people, and therefore they don't celebrate it.
