and always has been a Conservative, and that's one of the reasons Charlie Gibson left GMA, as he's a Liberal. Also, that ever since Barbara Walters made her comment about Mel Gibson, she and Diane have been at odds.

Diane is and has always been pretty conservative. But Charles Gibson left the show to jump at the chance to get off what is known as the "dreaded morning shift" . Diane WAS and still is a little upset that the job did not go to her. Stay tuned to see if she stays with ABC when her contract is up next year. I DK about the Barbara Walters thing.

I don't believe Charlie Gibson is a lib. not even a progressive.
