I don't get that, I get:
'Whoa! You've earned 1 points!'

I think they really aim it at insecure people who need constant praise throughout the day to stop them committing suicide... that's mainly the kind of people you find on Yahoo answers.

It makes me feel kinda good about myself though...

yes i hate when u only get 1 point and when u lose 5 points for asking a question!!!

It's a tiny bit annoying but I agree that the -5 for asking a question is far more annoying!

As long as it's +points I'm fairly happy. =)

I hate the alerts... but I love "Your answer was chosen as the best answer +10pts" and I hate "You're on a roll! Keep answering" It makes me stick here the more when I'm trying to quit.
