Dell doesn't provide Mac drivers, but their printers are actually made by Lexmark (the 720 is possibly a relabeled Lexmark Z615). A quick Web search indicates that the Z615 Mac drivers probably don't work for the Dell 720, but there may be other Lexmark drivers that will work (according to LinuxPrinting.org, it may be worth trying the Z600 driver).

Good luck!

The 720 is made for Windows XP & 2000 only!

While it is true that Lexmark makes this printer, you will be disappointed with the results of trying to use a different driver.

Buy a Lexmark printer that is designed to run on MAC...the Z605 for example...looks identical to the Dell 720. It also uses the same ink and power supply!

Yes, but you will need the MAC drivers for the printer. Go to the printer website and download the drivers first, install them, then plug the printer into the mac, preferably a USB port.

Generally, if it's not supported by Dell, you won't know until you plug it in. If it's not, there may be alternative drivers available from the open source community.
