I weighed close to 300 lbs in high school and a couple of years ago I lost 70 lbs. I still had all the stretch marks but they get a lot lighter over time. And I looked so good in clothes I didn't care.
I've had stretch marks since I was in Junior high, it's just something you have to overlook.
Losing weight is about so much more than skin!!!
And if you lose weight slowly your skin will shrink back with it so you won't have a lot of extra sking hanging around. I didn't.
Good luck!!

There's a few ways to control stretch marks, so don't think there isn't any use. Sometimes they start off at a reddish color, but this fades after about one year to a few shades lighter than your skin color. To get the color to fade faster you can use Retin A, or any other perscription cream with tretinoin. After that, you can use creams with cocoa butter & vitamin e to keep your skin smooth around those areas. Unfortunately, there is no way to fully get rid of stretch marks besides laser surgery
If you feel you want to loose weight, don't be discouraged by stretch marks. Once they fade, they are not all that noticable. And you will probably be too excited about loosing so much weight to even care about that! I have some stretch marks and they're only noticable around the summer if I get a tan, otherwise they pretty much fade into my pale skin color. Good luck!

If you are losing weight the smart way (by exercising and eating more healthy), you'll lose fairly slowly and your skin should shrink to keep up with your new figure. It's the people who lose weight very quickly (like with gastric bypass) that end up having huge flaps of skin leftover. As for stretch marks, even skinny people have them. Unfortunately it's just a fact of life for most women. Rubbing cocoa butter on stretch marks though has been proven to lighten and decrease the look of them. Good luck losing the weight!!!

Which you can get stretch marks from developing too rapidly or observe them extra whilst you shed extra pounds quickly. The dermis being stretched out for a long period of time and then rapidly gaining that additional room would be causing the marks. Use a lot of moisturizer to keep your epidermis satisfactory and healthy and check out to not lose too much weight too speedy. I am no longer definite what else you are able to do, except you're fairly worried with the scarring.

You should lose the weight to help yourself become healthier. I would talk to your doctor and see what options there will be to deal with the stretch marks. Good luck!

I've lost 5 kilos in my first week. It's my 10th day and I have included salad with some protein (eg. egg/ lean chicken) as you suggested. After 4 years of trying, the fat is finally coming off. It truly feels like magic!

Get started today!

Why are you worried about stretch marks...they fade with time. They won't disappear, but they won't be glaringly obvious after a while. Just don't wear a bikini at the beach.

Better to have the stretch marks than to be overweight. You would have gotten some anyways when you have children. Being overweight isn't just bad for your looks, it is bad for your health as well.

Buy some Bio-Oil and rub it into your skin. It reduces the appearence of strech marks and scars and is also good as an all over body lotion and is not very expensive.

It worked wonders for me!
