it's not about being a kid and trying to see who is going to surrender first or putting our pride higher than our feelings. Saying sorry IF you did or said something wrong is the key and the rewards are always so great : what is better than a big ol' hug and a kiss to end a stupid argument ?
Sorry is a magic word, we should use it more often...

I do. One look into a woman's eyes is all it takes for me. And if there are any tears, forget it. Then I really feel bad. The only good thing that ever comes out of an argument is the making up afterwards.

I always say I'm sorry first .I'm meaner in fights so I'm guessing his feelings get hurt worse.

You apologize if you have done wrong or said bad things. If he goes nuts on you for no reason you have nothing to apologize for.

if u apologize first, and ask for their forgiveness, than they will forgive u for your part in it, it is hard not to be prideful, and want to be right, but it just hurts a relationship. shows real strength and humility to admit wrong, and ask for forgiveness.

i always did, until he did the whole "sorry doesn't cut it" bs. i never apologized to him again.
