This is an easy one. Placing another person's interests, comfort, happiness, security above your own. Letting your wife sleep the entire time you drive a 700 mile trip. Cleaning up a mess you didn't make so that your wife won't have to face such an uncomfortable task. Changing all the "bad" diapers so that your husband won't have to do it if it makes him sick. Taking the broken piece of cake with some of the frosting missing so that your spouse can have the perfect piece. Letting your spouse sleep on a morning when chores have to be done, yet both husband and wife are having a rare day off. Standing in a crowded room while your wifes gets to sit in a comfortable seat. I could go on. When a couple understands these simple rules they stay married for 26 years--longer than 80% of all couples currently in America (who don't understand these simple self-less rules.)
