It's very hard, depening on what part of the safari zone you're in a Chansey will occur 1%-4% of the time. It takes a lot of luck so either chuck pokeballs or start off by giving it bait and then chucking pokeballs. Chansey will probably run, but don't worry, keep trying!

Chansey is very hard to catch, but i figure out a way. First enter the zone and walk all over it until you meet one after it runs away just tap the direction button so you only turn you head. Remember not to leave the patch of grass in which you encounter one. eventually you will see another chansey without having to waste steps. Im sorry but catching I cant help you. Just encountering

Dude, catching Chansey at the Safari Zone is tough. This is from my personal experience, but everytime I throw rock/bait, Chansey runs away. I just threw safari balls until I caught it. It may be different for other people, but that's how I caught it. Chansey's rare appearances makes it more frustrating too. Just have patience.

chansey is very difficult to catch, but here is a way to easily catch him,

first bring a pokemon that knows sweet cent,and go to the part that chansey could possibly appear and use sweet cent,if chansey appear after you use sweet cent it will be more easier to catch than when it appear when you are walking and it won't ran away so easily,so first throw a rock first and it didn't ran than use the ball,hold A until you caught it.
