No. It is a family establishment. I allready get cross that McD's staff do not remove adylts and teenagers that are being loud and using foul language. How can they handle intoxicated people. I am aware that homless people use our McD's as the food has lots of energy and is relatively inexpensive and they can make a hot drink last for a long time for a nice place to sit. I don't mind that at all. But if there was beer? Would that attract alcoholic homeless. I understand that some people like a resposible drink while they eat, but I think there are too many McD's customers that would not drink responsibly.

They did sell beer in McDonalds when I was in France a few years ago.
They also sold hot dogs for a while but they were like small versions of cinema hot dogs and nobody liked them so they stopped.

It costs more to get a liquor license than just a food license, and I don't imagine a family restaurant like McD's would think it was worth it. They have enough trouble keeping out the low lifes on the weekends, they don't need more trouble by selling booze.

McDonalds has long been the "family" place to go eat so that's why they don't sell beer and stuff.
