Do You Think the Halocaust?

was real? I saw on t.v. that some guy was having a 'summit' and he said the Halocaust was fake. Of course, David Duke was there.

They said that the pictures of the victims were fake. I don't really think they had the tech back then to make photos fake like that.

I do beleive the Halocaust was real so PLEASE don't be rude to me. I think it was a horrid thing to have happened and it was very sad.

I just want to know if theres anyone out there who doesn't believe in the halocaust and why not?

My MIL converted to be jewish and we've been to a muesum here and I know it's real. There's no way that's fake!

Yes the holocaust did happen. Sadly there are people with agendas intent on denying that it did. Anti-semitism is one of the main reasons that this denial exists and proof that humanity is capable of perpetuating this kind of horror again.

What is often lost in all this screaming about the holocaust is that the jews were not the only people killed. Of the 13 million killed 7 million were not jews. Man's inhumanity to man can and will happen again if we don't learn from the past. Darfur is living proof of this.

The whole idea of these sad and sick people is to cause confusion. What happened, so many murders cannot be justified. The Nazis were evil. The Iranians want to do exactly the same, wipe out the Jews. This makes the Iranians evil too.

I can only believe the Iranians are saying the holocaust never happened for 3 reasons. One, if they do the same as the Nazis, it is puts them in the same light as the Nazis and no civilized society agrees with what they did. Secondly, they want to rehabilitate Hitler as he is their hero. Thirdly, by claiming that the holocaust was a Jewish invention it casts the Jews in a bad light. But, the only thing it does is display for the world to see the bigotry of this nation and the bigotry of all those who say it never happened.

oh, i'm pretty sure it was real. I agree with what you said about the tech to make pictures that way. In class we just finished the book "Night" it's about the Halocaust by some guy name Elie W. who was a boy back then and went through it all. But he fought through it.

I also find it odd how this year I've seemed to hear more about it then anything, why is that?

The Holocaust is misused to allow Israelis to justify oppressing the Palestinians. The Holocaust now is no longer a tragic historical event but an article of faith. If you doubt this try questioning it. It will get you thrown in jail or worse.
The Jews themselves made the Holocaust a politcal weapon. Is there any other proof needed than the fact that there is a Natioanl Holocaust Museum but no national museum to slavery?

Yes, unfortunately it was real and millions of people died.

There are people who try to say 9/11 did not happen and it was a myth perpetrated by the Bush administration to give the excuse to attack Iraq.

We all know for a fact 9/11 happened. There are still millions of people living today who's families were interred in the death camps and there are some survivors of the death camps still alive.

It did happen; whether people chose to believe it happened or not is irrelevant because it did happen.

There is no doubt in my mind as a historian that the Holocaust was all too real, and as far from fakery as it's possible to get--all one has to do is think of the huge numbers of people it would require to be involved in order to perpetrate a hoax of such magnitude.

If, as Benjamin Franklin observed, "Three may keep a secret if two of them are dead," how could a security leak be prevented if thousands of people were involved?

As I see it, they are 2 seperate topics. The Halocaust became completely pushed by using extermination. Malice with intense prejudice era. "the holocaust" is demonstrably real. nazi germany was a world champion of archiving, record-keeping and photographing all aspects of its society. it is doubtful that the oft-quoted number of 6m jews killed is accurate, but there were many other groups persecuted in great numbers (primarily roma gypsies, communists, homosexuals, the mentally ill), and in total the number of victims certainly exceeded 6m. it should also be noted that there have been numerous "holocausts", i.e., systematic genocides targeting specific groups. the term has often been applied to the armenians, but could equally be used, for example, with respect to numerous indigenous ethnic groups in america and elsewhere targeted for extermination by europeans, as well as the ongoing genocide in darfur. "ethnic cleansing" is merely a euphemism for this type of practice. just because the numbers involved are less doesn't make these processes less worthy of our attention, study and approbation.

It was very real. Just think about what man is capable of when it comes to evil. People want to deny it because of shame, and disgust for their own evil nature. Mankind will unfortunately go to any lengths to have power and control. If a mother or father can beat and even kill their own offspring, what do you think a man with an army can do to a race that he feels should be annihilated.
