kilger broke the all time nhl record with a slapshot of 106.6 two weeks ago. i think it was brett hull who had the previous record with 106.0 your thoughts?

Its all stick technology, and aiming right at the radar. Theres no way possible that Kilger as a bigger shot than Brett Hull, Al Iafrate, or Al Mcinnis.

My thoughts!! I guess it is nice to have the record for the fastest slapshot in the NHL. It is probably more important to have an accurate shot during a game.

Happy for Kilger. And he scored two goals in the Leafs big win over the Lightning the other night - helping to break their 7-game slump. But, I agree that stick technology of today helps out with the shots....

Actually it was AL McKinnis that had the hardest slap shot
