I need to change from an electric razor to wet shaving, but with the multitude of choices available, it would be helpful to hear your views.

Gillette Custom Plus with the double blade pivoting head.
Pivoting head is a must for,... err..umm....turning around corners and the thinner blade is... err... umm.....
just trust me on this one.

I have used the cheap disposable ones and they are basically worse than useless. I use Gillette track 2 plus and edge gel shave cream. I have used this type for over 20 years. If I could afford it, I would go to a laser hair removal place and then not need to worry about shaving.

I would select the Gillette Fusion or the Mach 3 Turbo... The Schike Quatra really seemed to cut my face up. I also would recommend the gel that goes with the Fusion!

I have used many disposable razors and to be honest there all very bad infact most of them cause at least slight irritation. Your best bet for a decent shave at a decent price is gillette sensor excel using king of shaves shaving lotion.

Shick- the one with 3 blades- available at Target, Wal-mart et al in packs of 6 and 10. Killer shave.

I would recomment Gillette Mach 3 for a smooth and nice shave.
