Yes. My mom did this on the highway once. She was very tired and all of a sudden we started slowing down. Her eyes were open so i didn't think anything of it. then I said her name and she almost jumped out of her skin because she was asleep!!

Yes it is as I have my eyes cracked when I sleep sometimes. I knew I did this for years but was just recently asked by my new optomotrist if anyone had ever told me that I sleep with my eyes partially opened. I laughed and told her I had known this for years. I now have dry eyes and need to use special drops and ointment to help keep them moist and prevent infections.

Yeah i've done this sometimes. I know as when i wake up my eyes are so dry and sore i can hardly blink, so i know i've been sleeping with them open. I read about it and it's not a serious problem or anything - it's just one of those things that happen sometimes for no reason.

Yes. Both my daughter and granddaughter sleep with their eyes open at times. It is pretty freaky.

Yes, my roommate in college had a weird brother that stayed with us for about a week. He slept board-straight, hands crossed over his chest and eyes wide open. Crrrreeeeeppppyyyy. It didn't help that he slept with a gun under his pillow.

It is, I've seen it before.
People that sleepwalk also open their eyes even though they are "sleeping".
