love Dan Marino and I really think he is one of the best, but at the end of a career I have to take into consideration weather or not you have won a Superbowl. That is why you were hired to play in the NFL in the first place. Dan made it to the big dance but never won. Numbers and stats don't mean anything if you couldn't win a ring. In my personal opinion Joe Montana was the best quarterback of all time. With 2 minutes left trailing by 7 in the Superbowl there is probably nobody else I would have wanted as my quarterback than Joe Montana.

how many super bowls did dqn marino win? how many did he go to? 1. ok yeah he has all of the passing records, but like Peyton Manning it all dont mean a thing if you dont have the bling. Aikman has 3 and so does Brady. Montana and Bradshaw have 4 each. Favre has 2. Hell even Trent Dilfer has 1. The greatest of all time is Montana he won in the regular season and in the post season when it counts. He didnt have to put up the big numbers all he had to do was make his team and teammates great thats what makes you the greatest of all time not personal achievements.

Dan Marino for picking the Jags against Indy on "Inside The NFL". Thank you, Marino

An opinion cannot be a fact!! Marino may have the best numbers, but that doesn't mean he is the best. I'd still take Montana over ANYBODY!
But hey, I don't know anything.

Gotta go with Joe. Dan was good but maybe his records are more about an unbalanced attack rather than who is the best quarterback. Its the same in the NBA the best player is not the one who puts up the most points but the guys who leads the teams to the championship.

It's impossible to answer such a question. A FEW things change over a hundred years. Like comparing apples to oranges.
Dan Marino??? Isn't he the fat guy doing diet commercials on TV?

The quarterback that for me is the best is John Elway, i´m agree with you that you need 22 players for winning a sb, but also you need someone to guide the troops and John Elway did knew how to guide his team to the championship.
By the way i´m steelers fan.
