I have tried to find out on websites with no answer because I can't read their money type or hours. Can someone say it in American money and time? I am flying to London in July.

fly with easyjet or bmibaby out of london to Belfast International. Belfast has 2 airports, the George Best City airport which is always usually dearer to fly into, the only airline that flies into here form london is BMI.
International airport is outside of the city and Easyjet and bmibaby fly here. Ryanair do not fly in to Belfast. Cost approx $150 - $200 return at the most.

That could be because Belfast is on an island separate to the land mass London is on. You can not get a train across the body of water separating the two cities. Try Sky Scanner - see link below, but you'll need to put in your own travel dates. The flight is 1 hour and 5 minutes long. Several airlines fly that route; British Airways, Easyjet, BMI, Flybe etc. Costs will vary greatly depending on your dates of travel, but the exchange rate is approx £1 = $2 - so if you see a price of £50, it's $100 roughly. That would be about what you could expect to pay if you book now for travel in July.

As Carol Anne said GET AN ATLAS, two different cities, two different countries, two different islands. The Channel tunnel goes to France and also in the opposite direction.London Is in England on the island of Britain, and Belfast is on the island of Ireland.
You could always get a bus, that's fairly cheap but it will take about 20 hours in all to get there.

Okay. Trains do not run between London and Belfast. Why? There is the Irish sea in the way. You will either have to get to one of the ferry ports and sail across, or take a flight. It will probably cost you lots of your currency to do so. (about $400 -$500)

It is one hell of a journey but your best option if you want to take in views of England. For ease and convenience I would fly as others have suggested.

Here's a weekday service:

10.29 depart London Euston - arrive Carlisle 13.42. (Change trains)

14.22 depart Carlisle - arrive Stranraer Harbour 17.55

19.50 (ship) depart Stranraer Hbr - 21.20 arrive Belfast Port

10 hours and 30 min journey

Current cost of a single ticket is £44 (approx $86) but this may increase slightly by July

Well, if you intend to travel by train, you will need a boat too. Failing that, try Virgin Airways or Ryanair to get a flight out of London to Northern Ireland. (London has four city airports, and many more peripheral ones...which one are you flying into?)

Amazing. I've already had to correct one stupid Yank, who thought that Belfast was in England and had written a ridiculous answer to some poor woman who had merely asked about trains from Belfast to Dublin. He told her she'd have to cross the Irish sea!
Please tell me not all Americans are this dim.......

Trains that go underwater? That would be the Channel Tunnel then! Unfortunately, the Channel Tunnel doesn't go to Belfast.
